In case anyone needed reminding about the dangers of Mexico, a long-time B.C. gangster was just shot dead there. The victim, Tom Gisby, fled for Mexico after fearing he was targeted for murder in B.C.

A dozen year after a couple was murdered, the trial for the alleged killers is finally beginning in Kentville, N.S. The Crown is arguing it was a Hells Angels ordered hit. Leslie Douglas Greenwood, 42, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Barry Kirk Mersereau, 48, and his wife, Nancy Paula Christensen, 47.

The biggest biker in the province – and one of the smartest – pled guilty in Ottawa to a cocaine charge, sparing his girlfriend a criminal record. That means Paul (Sasquatch) Porter will be facing two years in the slammer.
