Wayne Kellestine and the other five men connected to the now-defunct Canadian Bandidos will have to serve out their life terms, with no eligibility for parole until October 2034, when Kellestine will be 85 years old. The Ontario Court of Appeal quashed their appeal bids on April 16 in a thorough, 58-page decision. All of the convicted men except Michael (Taz) Sandham, the former Winnipeg cop, had appealed their cases and made an effort to gain a new trial. Brett (Bull) Gardiner, the youngest of the group, will be 50 when he’s eligible to apply for parole.
